Non-Judicial Foreclosures: This process begins once a borrower had defaulted. The lender will advertise and publish a notice of sale. The borrower can stop the foreclosure anytime prior to the sale by paying the full amount owed. The typical foreclosure takes about two months.

Sale: A notice of sale should be published in the local newspaper at least three times before the sale date.
